Betsey Long Vocalist

Nashville, Tennessee native, Betsey Long stems from a musical lineage. She is the granddaughter of popular Nashville session player, Bobby Dyson (Jolene, Polk Salad Annie, Hee Haw), and daughter of Nashville guitarist, Jim Long (Aretha Franklin, Shirley Ceasar)

Betsey has been working in the music industry for over ten years. She works as a Vocal Trainer, Recording Artist, and Songwriter.

As a Vocal Trainer, Betsey focuses on foundational necessities, performance, and personality. She draws from her many years of experience and education in order to shape a students natural abilities.

Among other projects, Betsey has recorded background vocals with Miranda Lambert on the 2012 single “Fastest Girl In Town,” off of Lambert’s Grammy nominated album, ‘Four The Record.’ In 2015 Betsey became an official Epiphone endorsee and the proud owner of the Epiphone PRO-1 ULTRA Acoustic-Electric Guitar. Betsey wrote and recorded a duet with Country Music Hall of Fame Member, Charlie McCoy, on his latest studio album, ‘Celtic Dreams.’ Soon after, Charlie and Betsey wrote and recorded an original song entitled, “Rattin’ You Out,” featured on Betsey’s 2016 album, ‘Gorham Woods.’ Betsey produced and tracked ‘Gorham Woods’ organically at House Of Blues Studios in Nashville, Tennessee. Her songs have been placed in several television networks. She’s had two song cuts including “Don’t Come Home” by Holly Elle and “#Nincsmás” by Farkas Zsolti.
